Dust On The Breakers ::

"Dark and brooding with a great sense of mystery. Very impressive."
Rock 'n' Reel

"An elegant decay hangs over American Reclamation, like a dying sun sending glimmers of blood red light shooting through half drawn curtains in some forgotten city apartment"
Americana UK

"A triumph of experimental wide screen Americana at its best. Reminiscent of the sweet, blissed out harmonies of Low mixed wityh the shimmer of vintage Morricone and lo-fi atmospheric interludes that recall Silver Mt. Zion at their most pastoral, American Reclamation is an ep well worth investigating"
The Line Of Best Fit

" Purely and simply this is a stunning record that tears at your heart from its opening moments through to its last reverb-washed murmur"

Formed in 2006, a serendipitous convergence of three friends one isolated night in a Denver warehouse, Dust on the Breakers isn’t a band—it’s a musical collective in perpetual flux, directed by Old West aesthetics and nostalgic American rock.

Live shows and a rotation of guest musicians have kept core members - Jeff Linsenmaier (The Czars), Jeff Davenport (d.biddle), and Tim Husmann (Crooked Fingers) - active in the time since their initial meeting, culminating with the emotionally electric American Reclamation.

The record, mixed by Martin Feveyear (Crooked Fingers / Damien Jurardo / Jesse Sykes), is a musical purge; a wild abandonment of former loves and lovers, a forward march to new, uncharted hopes. Its opening track, "Charred Metropolis," introduces vocalist Anna Slade, her voice a demure echo against Linsenmaier's slowcore-ish croon. "Quiet Please" is likewise an ambient exploration of atmospherics and rumbling piano parts. "Summer Rain Storms" is easily the album's most accessible tune, a buoyant diversion from the record's otherwise unfathomable depths. For years, Dust on the Breakers has been a band on the verge, and with the densely layered debut American Reclamation, it's about time for it to tip over.

American Reclamation features contributions from:
Shawn King (Devotchka)
Ben Wysocki (The Fray)
Patrick Meese (Meese)
Jimmy Stofer (Hello Kavita)
Elin Palmer (16 Horsepower, Devotchka, Crooked Fingers)
